Appointments online, walk-ins in the queue.

With Kammzeit, your regulars book their cut online, even at one in the morning. Anyone who walks in without an appointment scans the QR code in your shop, joins the queue with their first name and sees on their phone when it's their turn. Or you add them to the calendar in a few taps, and that time is gone online.

Short services, clear times

This is how a barbershop might set up its services. Each one gets its own duration, and Kammzeit plans exactly as much time as you enter. The prices are only examples.

  • Haircut + beard45 min€40.00

  • Beard trim and line-up15 min€15.00

  • Kids' cut up to 1230 min€18.00

  • Ear and nose wax15 min€10.00

Combos are services of their own. Customers choose one service per booking, so you set up “Haircut + beard” as its own service with 45 minutes.

Short services fill gaps. Free start times come in 15-minute steps, so a 15-minute beard trim fits between two cuts.

02 / A Saturday

Booked online or walked in: all in one place

Online bookings and appointments you add yourself are in the same calendar. The booking page only offers times that are still free there.

Example of a calendar day, simplified.

At 10:30, someone walked in. Murat added him without an email address. After that, 10:30 was no longer bookable online.

No double bookings. If the time is already taken when you add an appointment, Kammzeit tells you which appointment is already there and when.

03 / The queue

Walk-ins join the queue themselves

Customers without an appointment don't have to ask at the counter how long it will take. They scan the QR code, enter their first name and see on their phone how many people are ahead of them. The queue is part of the Pro plan. Adding walk-ins straight to the calendar works on every plan.

  5. 16next numberjoin with the QR code, wait about 35 min
Example of a queue, simplified. Kammzeit estimates the waiting time from the services of the people waiting and the number of barbers working today.

Put up the QR code, done. You print the QR code from your dashboard. Customers don't need an app or an account, just their first name; the email address is optional. While the queue is open, your booking page also shows “Join the queue”.

One click calls the next customer. You call the next number, and anyone who left an email address gets an email saying it's nearly their turn. A screen or tablet in the shop shows the numbers and the QR code for joining. If someone asks at the counter, you add them yourself.

On when you want it. You switch the queue on and off. Outside your working hours it closes automatically, and with their own login, every barber can call customers.

04 / Shop life

Situations you know

The shop is full, and someone books for five minutes from now.

With the minimum notice, you set how close to the appointment customers can still book online: immediately, 30 minutes, one hour or longer before. If you like spontaneous customers, leave it at “immediately”.

Only one of you does hot towel shaves.

You decide who offers which service. Anyone booking a hot towel shave can only choose Murat or “Anyone available”, and only sees Murat's free times.

The same fade every three weeks.

His customer card has a note: “Sides 0.5 to 2, top 4 cm with scissors, square neckline”. So everyone on the team cuts it the same way, even when his usual barber is off.

Saturday's 9:00 customer doesn't turn up.

Customers with an email address get a reminder 24 hours before, with a link to cancel, so they're more likely to cancel than forget. If someone still doesn't come, you mark the appointment as a no-show. Next time, the customer card shows you who you can count on.

Fridays from noon, but until late.

Every barber has their own working hours for each weekday, with up to two blocks per day. Someone who works Fridays from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00 can be booked exactly then.

The link belongs in your Instagram bio.

Your booking page has its own address, such as yourshop.kammzeit.com. Customers don't need an app or an account, just their name and email address.

05 / Team and booking page

What else is included

Anything that needs Pro is marked. Everything else is part of the Free plan too.

A login for every barber Pro

Everyone on the team logs in with a link sent by email, no password needed. Barbers see the calendar and the customer records, add walk-ins, call customers from the queue and keep their own working hours up to date. Services, prices, team, settings and your plan stay with you, and so do deleting and exporting customers.

Kammzeit as an app

You can install your dashboard on your phone, tablet or the computer at the counter. It then opens in its own window like an app, with shortcuts for a new appointment, customers and the queue. The app doesn't store customer data on the device.

Your booking page, your shop

Every booking page shows your logo, links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google and WhatsApp, and your opening hours based on your working hours. Pro adds a cover image, a choice of font, rounded or square corners, light or dark, a welcome text and a gallery of up to 12 photos, for example of fades and beards.

In English or German

You choose one language for your booking page, English or German, and confirmations, reminders and the queue email go out in that language too. English works well for a mixed, international clientele. Other languages aren't available yet.

06 / To be honest

What Kammzeit can't do for barbershops yet

Combining the queue with appointments

The queue runs alongside the calendar. People waiting don't block any time there, and the estimated waiting time doesn't include booked appointments. On busy appointment days, the wait is longer than shown.

Text messages or WhatsApp

Confirmations, reminders and queue calls are sent by email. Kammzeit doesn't send messages to phones.

Till

Kammzeit isn't a till or point-of-sale system. Customers pay in your shop, as before.

Deposit when booking

Nobody pays anything online. Reminders, the cancellation deadline and the no-show mark help against missed appointments.
