01 / General

What Kammzeit is

What is Kammzeit?

Online booking for hairdressers, barbershops, beauty salons and nail salons. Your customers book on your own booking page, such as your-salon.kammzeit.com, and you see everything in the calendar in your dashboard, together with the appointments you add yourself.

Which salons is Kammzeit for?

For salons with set services and working hours, from one-person studios to teams, with or without walk-ins. It is not the right fit if you need to schedule rooms, treatment cabins or equipment, or want to run several locations from one account. Kammzeit can't do that. Each location would need its own account with its own email address.

Do I or my customers need an app?

Your customers don't: they book in the browser, without an app and without creating an account. Your dashboard runs in the browser too, and you can also install it like an app on your phone, tablet or computer, without an app store. Install the app

Which languages does Kammzeit support?

English and German, more are planned. One account works on both sites: the dashboard is in English on kammzeit.com and in German on kammzeit.de. For your booking page, you choose the language under Booking page language in Settings. Your customers then book and receive their emails in that language. Language and kammzeit.de

Can I try Kammzeit first?

Yes. The demo salon shows the booking page as your customers see it. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no payment details: create a salon, look around the dashboard and make a test booking on your own booking page. A short tour shows you around the first time you log in. Getting started

Your data

Where is the data stored?

On our own servers in a data centre in Eygelshoven in the Netherlands, so in the EU. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU. Data and security

Can I use Kammzeit in line with the GDPR?

Kammzeit is built for it: servers in the EU, no tracking, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, and tools to export, correct and delete customer data when someone asks. As the salon, you remain the controller for your customers' data, for example for informing them in your own privacy notice.

Is there a data processing agreement?

Yes. You accept it when you sign up and can read it at any time under DPA. The English version is a translation; the German version is legally binding.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes, at any time: all data as a JSON file in Settings, and your customer records as a CSV file for spreadsheets as well. Guide

What happens to the data if I stop?

If you delete your account, the data is removed from the live system immediately and from the backups no later than 30 days afterwards. If you only cancel Pro, everything stays on the Free plan.

Do you send newsletters or advertising?

Only if you subscribe to Kammzeit news: it is optional, confirmed by email and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or in Settings.
