Two roles
There are owners and staff. Whoever signed up the salon is the owner. Every invited login is linked to a staff member in your team.
| Area | Owner | Staff |
|---|---|---|
| Calendar: add, reschedule and cancel appointments, mark no-shows | yes | yes |
| View and add customers, keep notes | yes | yes |
| Delete customers, CSV export | yes | no |
| Work the queue | yes | yes |
| Turn the queue on and off, note for customers | yes | no |
| Working hours | everyone's, under Team | only their own, under My hours |
| Services, team, settings, data export, deleting the account, plan | yes | no |
Staff only see Calendar, Customers, Queue and My hours in the menu. Their name and “Staff member” appear at the top right. If they try to open an owner page anyway, Kammzeit tells them that only the salon owner can do this.
Invite
- Open Team in the menu and click the staff member. A new staff member has to be saved first.
- Below the form you will find the card Dashboard login. Enter the staff member's address under Login email.
- Click Send invitation.
Your staff member receives an invitation with a login link. The link is valid for 15 minutes. After that they simply log in on the login page, just like you. Nobody needs a password. The invitation is sent in the language of your booking page.
- Each email address can only belong to one Kammzeit login. So you can't use your own address, use your staff member's.
- You can only invite active staff members.
- If the link expired before it was used: Resend invitation.
The team list shows the status of every staff member: no login, invited, login active or login paused. The card also shows when they last logged in.
My hours
Staff keep their own working hours up to date: My hours in the menu, two blocks per weekday as described in Team and working hours, then Save. They can only be booked online during these hours. They can't change anyone else's hours.
The first time they log in, Kammi gives staff a short tour too, without the owner areas.
Remove access
Open Team, click the staff member and, in the Dashboard login card, click Remove access. All sessions of this login end immediately. The staff member stays in your team with their appointments, only the login is gone. You can invite them again later.
If you set a staff member to inactive, they can't log in either, but their access stays saved.
Without Pro
Staff logins are only available on the Pro plan. When Pro ends, they are paused: anyone trying to log in is told that their access is paused. Nothing is deleted, and all logins work again as soon as you have Pro. On the Free plan, the Dashboard login card shows See Pro instead.
Shared device at the front desk: log out when you leave, so nobody carries on with your login. Everyone in the team should use their own login. That way staff don't see owner pages either.
