The small print, in large letters
No VAT under § 19 UStG
Kammzeit is a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), so the invoice shows no VAT and the price here is the price you pay. For business customers in other EU countries the reverse charge procedure may apply.
Payment via Stripe
With the payment methods offered at checkout. The amount is due at the start of each month or year. Invoices arrive by email and are also in the customer portal.
Cancel in the dashboard
Under “Plan” via the customer portal, effective at the end of the paid month or year. Your salon then carries on with the Free plan: staff logins are paused, the queue is off, and the cover photo, design and gallery are hidden. Nothing is deleted.

Questions about pricing
Is there a trial for Pro?
No, that is what the Free plan is for, with no time limit. It includes everything except the Pro features: more staff, staff logins, the queue and the cover photo, design and gallery. So you can try Kammzeit with your salon at your own pace.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Pro stays available until the end of the paid period. After that, the limits of the Free plan apply again: one active staff member and the Kammzeit note on the booking page. Staff logins are paused, the queue is off, and the cover photo, design and gallery are hidden. Nothing is deleted: your data, your team's access and your pictures are kept and come straight back with Pro.
Does each staff member need their own Pro plan?
No. One Pro plan covers the whole salon, however many staff members get a login.
Are there costs per booking or per email?
No. There is no set-up fee and no charge per booking, per staff member or per email. Just the price of the plan.
Why is no VAT charged?
Kammzeit is run from Germany as a small business under § 19 UStG and does not charge VAT. If you are a business customer in another EU country, the reverse charge procedure may apply. Your accountant can tell you whether it does.
Are SMS reminders included?
Kammzeit does not send SMS. Reminders and confirmations go out by email, included in both plans at no extra cost.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, electronically by email. You can also find all invoices in the customer portal, which you open in the dashboard under “Plan”.
Can I host Kammzeit myself?
Yes. The code is licensed under AGPL-3.0, and running it yourself costs nothing. You then look after the server, emails and updates yourself. More about open source
